Frame is an all original 1953 HD Wishbone. Triple chrome plated in 1974. Was a 2nd place Easyriders Show bike. The original builder worked at a chrome shop. Only things cut off the frame are the toolbox mount, and rear fatbob gas tank mount. I had Dylan make a cool little adapter that bolts on if you want to run stock tanks on the bike ever again.
Motor and trans are numbers matching 1961 (I'm 3rd owner of bike) Kicker cover is earlier style reproduction. Motor cases are absolutely perfect. no cracks or previous repairs. Correct 1961 aluminum rocker covers & push rod tubes etc. Cam cover is not perfect, has previous crack repair. Heads have some imperfections (minor chips) in the fins here & there and the bottom 2 fins have been removed by previous owner to remove point breaker I think. Point breaker is of later (1966-69 type) with correct original stainless cap. Engine runs very very strong (42+ mpg on highway!) Original Linkert M74B was rebuilt with Tom Cotten float & high quality European all brass Needle & Seat. Roth scoop bird deflector. Always starts 1st kick (2 prime kicks if cold outside) Cycle Electric style generator with solid state end-mount regulator. Oil pump has Andrews cone shovelhead gears to increase volume. Oil tank and lines are late-knucklehead reproduction.

The Derby and Inspection covers are original domed Harley Davidson ones. Hand shifter is old aftermarket item with Bakelite(?) knob. Foot clutch is original 1940's LEE. Anderson pegs and one Bates peg on left from when I broke my knee & still wanted to ride.
Rear drum brake is original type recently rebuilt with original shoes relined with racing liners. Stops very well! Rear wheel is 19" steel rim laced to original 1940 hub with Firestone 400-19 Tire. Front brake is old chrome 1954 K-model. Linings were redone, but never hooked up the cable & lever, so are still new. Fresh sealed bearings. Laced to Akront WM1 21" shouldered aluminum rim with stainless steel spokes and 275-21 Firestone tire.
Fork assembly is also from 1954 K-Model, but with late 1960's XLCH internal dampers. Aluminum headlight brow / mount is from 1961 XLCH. Correct new early fork boots with original hardware and vents. Old 40's tractor headlight with 12v bulb. Old aftermarket short risers and Stainless steel mini apes made by Dylan. NOS Doherty throttle housing with harley waffle grips.
Gas tank is very rare 1.8 gallon capacity Hap Jones tank with old lacquer paint job. Seat is original small size Bates pleated 2" solo seat. Fender is mounted with original 1947 knucklhead rear fender brace, modified to fit the narrow fender. Taillight is a 1920's aftermarket lamp with neat jeweled lens. Modern LED panel installed, so it is VERY bright.
Cool Harley stamped small tool roll on fork & larger old leather tool bags are included, but without tools. Old Red & White Seattle License plate frame is also included. Currently registered to the state of Washington. Clear 1961 Harley Davidson title in my name. I have, and would not hesitate to ride this panhead across country!
